we have now received sreconciliation.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, [1] by the mercies of God, ato present your bodies bas a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. [2] 2 cDo not be conformed to this world, [3] but be transformed by dthe renewal of your mind, that by testing you may ediscern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. [4]
For I am not aware of anything against myself, pbut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.
9I wrote to you in my letter jnot to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 knot at all meaning lthe sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, msince then you would need to go out of the world. 11But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone nwho bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
8To the unmarried and the widows I say that cit is good for them to remain single, das I am. 9But if they cannot exercise self-control, ethey should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
32I want you to be efree from anxieties. fThe unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. 33But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, 34and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband. 35I say this for your own benefit, gnot to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.
6it kdoes not rejoice at wrongdoing, but lrejoices with the truth.
though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
14But jthanks be to God, who in Christ always kleads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads lthe fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
For we know that if kthe tent that is lour earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, ma house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this tent nwe groan, longing to oput on our heavenly dwelling, 3if indeed by putting it on [1] we may not be found naked. 4For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal pmay be swallowed up by life. 5He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, qwho has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
17Therefore, if anyone is iin Christ, he is ja new creation. [2] kThe old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
18All this is from God, lwho through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us mthe ministry of reconciliation; 19that is, in Christ God was reconciling [3] the world to himself, nnot counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us mthe message of reconciliation.
20I have been tcrucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives uin me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, vwho loved me and wgave himself for me.
24And those who belong to Christ Jesus khave crucified the flesh with its lpassions and desires.
Brothers, [1] oif anyone is caught in any transgression, pyou who are spiritual should restore him in qa spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
2 rBear one another’s burdens, and sso fulfill tthe law of Christ. 3For uif anyone thinks he is something, vwhen he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4But let each one wtest his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5For xeach will have to bear his own load.
7 zDo not be deceived: God is not mocked, for awhatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8For bthe one who sows to his own flesh cwill from the flesh reap corruption, but dthe one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
let us not grow weary of doing good,
do good to everyone,
8For zby grace you have been saved athrough faith. And this is bnot your own doing; cit is the gift of God, 9 dnot a result of works, eso that no one may boast.
11And mhe gave the napostles, the prophets, the oevangelists, the pshepherds [3] and teachers, [4] 12 qto equip the saints for the work of ministry, for rbuilding up sthe body of Christ,
13until we all attain to tthe unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, uto mature manhood, [5] to the measure of the stature of vthe fullness of Christ, 14so that we may no longer be children, wtossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in xdeceitful schemes. 15Rather, yspeaking the truth in love, we are to zgrow up in every way into him who is athe head, into Christ, 16 bfrom whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, cwhen each part is working properly,

25Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you uspeak the truth with his neighbor, for vwe are members one of another. 26 wBe angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27and xgive no opportunity to the devil.
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give cgrace to those who hear. 30And ddo not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, eby whom you were sealed for the day of fredemption. 31 gLet all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 hBe kind to one another, tenderhearted, iforgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
be imitators of God,
walk in love, las Christ loved us and mgave himself up for us,
3But psexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness qmust not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4Let there be rno filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, swhich are out of place, but instead tlet there be thanksgiving.
wLet no one xdeceive you with empty words, for because of these things ythe wrath of God comes upon zthe sons of disobedience.
7Therefore ado not become partners with them; 8for bat one time you were cdarkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
Take no part in the hunfruitful iworks of darkness, but instead jexpose them.
ube filled with the Spirit,
wgiving thanks always
submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
32This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
4Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, ubut bring them up in the discipline and instruction
12For jwe do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against kthe rulers, against the authorities, against lthe cosmic powers over mthis present darkness, against nthe spiritual forces of evil oin the heavenly places. 13Therefore ptake up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in qthe evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
3Do nothing from kselfish ambition or lconceit, but in mhumility count others more significant than yourselves. 4Let each of you nlook not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 oHave this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, [1]
And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God bmade alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14by ccanceling dthe record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 wHe disarmed the rulers and authorities [2] and eput them to open shame, by ftriumphing over them in him.
Put on then, as eGod’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, fcompassionate hearts, gkindness, hhumility, meekness, and patience, 13 hbearing with one another and, iif one has a complaint against another, gforgiving each other; gas the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Walk in wisdom toward ioutsiders, making the best use of the time. 6Let your speech always jbe gracious, kseasoned with salt, lso that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Therefore ilet us leave jthe elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance kfrom dead works and of faith toward God, 2and of linstruction about washings, [1] mthe laying on of hands, nthe resurrection of the dead, and oeternal judgment.
Addressing unbelievers.
Believers, Intellectually agree, those who "like" Christ.
I WAS in the intellectual camp.
