15That which is, h already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God i seeks what has been driven away. [1]
and find enjoyment [8] in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his i lot. 19Everyone also to whom j God has given k wealth and possessions l and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is m the gift of God. 20For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.
k “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. 3 For still l the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, m wait for it;
n it will surely come; it will not delay.
