EFT is a healing technique that works on this basic premise: “The disruption of the body’s energy system is the primary cause of any negative emotion.” Any kind of emotional stress disrupts the natural flow of energy in the body.
These energy circuits became known as the meridians. The Chinese believed that the secret to a healthy body is the continuous flow of energy through these meridians.
Step 1: Letting a patient mentally tune into a specific self-issue; Step 2: Stimulation of the meridian points throughout the body by tapping on them with the fingertips.
The tapping motion in combination with the act of acknowledging a particular issue leads to the release of blockages in the energy system. As a result, the normal flow of energy in the body is restored, and the person feels better
the energy meridian points in the body are stimulated by tapping them with the tips of the fingers.
EFT was proven to relieve depression
A portion of these studies also point out that EFT goes beyond reducing sadness, but also affects the way distressing memories are mentally processed.
EFT was discovered to reduce anxiety levels even after a single session.
EFT helps these people manage their pain by reducing both emotional distress and the actual physical sensations.
EFT tapping clears out the energy channels of the body, which the Chinese call as meridians. These are similar to blood vessels because they nourish every part of the individual,
yang represents strength, forcefulness, and heat while yin symbolizes suppleness, fluidity, and coolness.
Each meridian is associated to a major organ but they affect the entire individual energetically.

3. Under-the-eye point, which is located on your left cheekbone just under your pupil.
4. Under-the-nose point, which is located exactly between your nose and your upper lip.
5. Under-the-mouth point, which is located on the dip that connects your chin and lower lip.
6. Collarbone point, which is located exactly where your collarbone and your sternum meet.
7. Under-the-arm point, which is located on the side of your body that is nearer the back side than the front – around four inches down your armpit.
8. Top-of-the-head point, which is the peak or highest point on the top of your head.
