She sometimes thinks they are symbiotic, the three of them like trees in a forest, linked through their roots.

it’s okay to make a bad decision. You don’t have to live your life in the shadow of one poor choice.

Kindness is love. That’s all there is. There’s nothing else.

Is this the final act of love, refusing to see someone aging?
