growing up means gaining perspective on our parents and the fact that they’re people too. People who can drive us crazy, but also people who can make mistakes and have flaws just like the rest of us.

My car might have a back-up camera, but that doesn’t stop me from placing my hand on the back of Catalina’s head rest and turning to look back.

doesn’t seem like the type to respond well to an overbearing alpha type, and luckily, I don’t fall into that category. I’m not sure if that makes me a progressive male or a stupid one
