For those who have dared to confront the darkest corners of their hearts for the love that binds us. Even when it leads us to the edge.
I knew a day would come when I would make her mine regardless of what everyone else thought they knew. I knew I’d fucking ruin her, and in the end, she’d love me for it. She’d have no choice.
Even back then, I knew—she was going to be my undoing. But I didn’t care. I was going to ruin her, one way or another.
“You’ve always been mine, Tatum,” he murmurs, his eyes darkening. “You just didn’t know it yet.”
Maybe this is what we were always meant to be—two dark, twisted souls, lost and broken but perfect together in our shared destruction.
Ironic, isn’t it. How the one thing that seems to offer me relief is also the same thing that’s spent years causing me pain.
“You’re mine. You were always meant to be mine, and now that you are, I’m not fucking letting you go. I don't care what anyone thinks or has to fucking say about it. If people don’t like it, I’ll show them how I handle problems.”
“A fucking lunatic. My fucking little lunatic,” he says, and there’s a finality in his voice that sends a shiver down my spine. “And I’m yours. We belong to each other now, no matter what anyone else thinks. And I’m going to show you just how much you belong to me.”
“That’s it, my little lunatic. Let go of it all. Of everything and give me every goddamn drop of your forbidden juice,”
She’s beautiful in a way that’s almost painful, a beauty that’s sharp and dangerous, like a blade that’s just waiting to cut you.
“Look at what you’ve done, little lunatic. Look at the carnage you have created. I always knew you were a monster like me,”
“Wherever you go, I’ll follow,” I murmur, my voice cracking under the weight of my grief. “You can’t run from me, little lunatic. Not even in death. You hear me? I won’t let you go.”
“I’ll follow you anywhere,” I murmur, my voice growing weaker and softer as the darkness pulls me under. “Even into the abyss. Especially into the abyss.”
