I had done a complete one-eighty in terms of being able to spend time alone, and I was beginning to worry that I was becoming a recluse. If the idea of socializing was so unappealing to me, I decided I needed to flip it and reverse it. This was my new motto: if I had a strong reaction to not doing something, I needed to do it.

This happened to me during the pandemic as well. I both figured out how to be alone in my 30s and became increasingly more anxious in social situations. it's like I had forgotten how to talk!
