“Yes. All the time. I find it empowering.”
My goal here is to learn to be more like her, then Clay may feel for me the way he did for her.
Don’t teach your ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend how to tie you up.
Jade takes a deep breath and protrudes her lower lip to blow her bangs out of her eyes. They need a trim, but I’ll admit—it’s pretty cute when she does that.
Jade, I can see why Clay likes her so much. She’s confident but not cocky. Cute, but also sexy. Smart, yet curious and naive. She’s a walking, talking paradox, and I don’t think I would ever get bored unraveling all of her personality’s complicated bits.
I like Jade too much. It would be very, very stupid of me to develop feelings for my ex’s new girlfriend. But I don’t think there’s much I can do about it at this point.
“Jack, drop it!” I snap. He freezes, staring at me in surprise. As his expression morphs into sadness, I feel the hot sting of guilt. “I’m sorry, buddy. I just…”
“It’s okay,” he replies. He turns away to go back to the playground, and I reach for him, hoping for a hug to let him feel how sorry I am, but he brushes my hand away.
I watch him playing from the bench while tears well in my eyes, hidden...

She knows I’m with Jade. I can’t betray her. I just can’t. But this is Eden.
love Jade. I want to give her everything, and I meant what I said last week. She makes me so fucking happy.
“You didn’t have a problem last time. Plus, whatever it is, I promise I’m going to be down. Unless the idea is not to have sex at all.”
“Then why did you look like I just suggested we paint each other’s fingernails?”
“Let me see you come on my desk, baby. My dirty, filthy girl. Show me how fucking nasty you can be.”
I catch him trying to hide the already-emptied wrappers, I glare at Clay. “Normally, we eat dinner before we have candy.”
“Oops,” Clay replies with a mouthful of chocolate, which makes Jack giggle like crazy.
“I never asked to be first,” he replies spitefully.
“You’re right. I don’t. Because you wouldn’t tell me, Eden.”
I’m Madame. And I’m Mama. Who am I without those two things?
“I’m with Jade now. I won’t betray her trust. Not even for you.”
Jade has Clay and Clay has Jade.
I’m supposed to be happy for them. But how can I pretend this doesn’t hurt?
“I let you treat me like a footstool, and then I got to wear your thighs like earmuffs. I don’t understand why I need water after that.”
“You should write a book! Or be president.”
the gentle laugh lines around her mouth and how pretty she is when she grins in a way that shows her pearly white teeth.
The front two have a sliver of a gap, and I realize now that it must be something she’s tried to hide, although I don’t know why. Eden is stunning as it is, but a happy Eden is out-of-this-world gorgeous.
“But what you want and who you are matters, Jade. No amount of love for someone else can change that.”
“My best friend and his wife, actually. She loves impact play, and he doesn’t like bringing her pain, no matter how much she wants him to.”
“They bring in reinforcements.”
By the wicked smirk she’s wearing, I assume she is the reinforcement.
“Because we all want the same thing—to feel safe, satisfied, and seen. We just take different roads to get there. If my friend’s wife loves pain and wants it, then is he really hurting her, or is he just giving her exactly what she wants?
If a submissive’s only desire is to please their Dom, then who is really in control if the sub is getting exactly what they want? These are all just dynamics that exist here in this club and out in the real world. We’re all after the same thing, but sometimes we have to get a little creative with how we work with those around us to get it.”
Then the app literally says: You are good at making decisions. Agree or disagree. “Well, that’s just rude,” I mumble to myself. Disagree.
Life is not black and white, and we don’t all fit into neat, little prescribed boxes.
If you could not fulfill your partner’s desires, would you be open to allowing them to seek that fulfillment with another partner?
This is what Eden was talking about with her friend, wasn’t it? Something about this question makes me feel both relieved and terrified. It seems like such a simple solution—to allow someone else to satisfy my partner if I couldn’t.
Switches prefer to change roles in the bedroom depending on their mood, partner(s), or situation. They enjoy both dominant and submissive roles and often pair well with other switches.
Well, great, I huff. Even my sex life is unable to make a decision.
The longer I watch, two things happen. I get more upset.
She is walking sex and beauty. Her confidence and perfection are otherworldly. Who wouldn’t be attracted to her?
I mean…sure, I kissed a few girls in college, but only when I was drunk. And I occasionally watch a little girl-on-girl porn if the mood strikes, but again…who hasn’t?
A bi awakening with Madame Kink surely isn’t cause to panic.
“Jade,” she says calmly. “Are you okay? You ran off and had me concerned.”
You’re so much better than an accessory in other people’s relationships. Why…do you always focus on everyone else and not yourself?”
“Is this about me…or you?” she asks softly.
“Listen, Jade. I wish you had stuck around and watched the whole thing. Maybe you’d see that I am happy with my job, and I do like helping people. I’m not an accessory. I’m a professional, and I do my job with pride.”
“Help us.”
“What?” she replies with confusion.
“Help me and Clay. Clearly, you know what he wants better than I do, and I trust you. So if you want to hel...

“If you’re so concerned about your relationship with Clay, why are you spending so much time with me?”
