“First of all, you need to stop worrying about other people for a second. You don’t have to repay people for every little thing they do for you. The people who really fuck with you don’t give a shit about that.

Grabbing my phone, I download a book of her choice and read to her until her soft snores fill the room.

“Unless I’m laying you down and driving you to the brink of insanity with my dick you should never see the backseat of my car. Get your ass to the front.”

“Taking a leap doesn’t scare me, J. I’m just waiting to see where you stand on that.”

If you don’t do things that scare you, how can you say you’ve really lived? Me personally? I want to look back on my life and know I was brave enough to do the things that brought me joy despite the risks, even if they didn’t work out.”
