Until I grew up and decided I wouldn’t wait for fate to intervene. I would be his karma. And nothing made me happier than planning to burn his life to the ground, exactly like he had done to mine.
“Come on, I’m driving you home. Unlike your boyfriend, I’m not leaving you here on a deserted street, at night, all alone. And I have more stuff to do tonight, so come on, get your ass moving.”
“Then congratulations, you’re about to be a rebel for what I can only imagine is the first time in your life.”
but all I could think about was how badly he wanted to taste me.
“Murder. Orgasms. I’m here.”
“Of course I would fucking eat you,” I said, leaning down until my lips brushed her neck. “And I already know you are, in fact, delicious.”

She was mine, and there was no chance I wouldn’t catch her. I would always catch her.
“You’re going to give up the control, just like that?” “To you? Yes. Only you. I would bow at your fucking feet, Regan. You always have the control.”
I was already falling in love with Regan Fletcher, and true to the Fletcher name, she was bound to ruin my life.
“If looking at this art makes you feel an ounce of what I feel when I look at you, then we can both understand why I wouldn’t be bored. I could never be bored with you, Regan. I don’t have to like anything else in the room. If you are there, I have my own personal form of art to look at.”
I wish I had the chance to, but at the same time, it’s hard to miss something you never had.
“Yes, unfortunately. I find my girl putting a bullet in someone’s head to protect me sexy as hell. Sorry, buying me flowers or something doesn’t get me off the same way.”
