“Some of the guys have families who are at every game,” Parker says, practically dragging me toward the door. “Locals or family who’s committed to travel. Others, like Logan, don’t have any family support at all.”
There is absolutely positively no way that the daughter of a professional hockey team doesn’t know this. Why do people continually have to explain hockey to a coaches daughter? she would know what a billet family is. She doesn’t need this explained to her. It’s becoming more and more obvious that the author has absolutely no clue how the sports industry works.
“Amelia is not some hook-up! She’s everything. She’s my wife.”
Find a very, very difficult to believe that there is no way that the lawyers didn’t already know about this. The author clearly has no idea how this stuff works. Especially like getting married they should’ve signed a certificate. They didn’t do that. What’s the timeline anyways? This is just suspension of disbelief is just no longer a thing.
But she doesn’t get to finish. Because my sisters rush us both, Callie and Lex clearly torn between yelling at Amelia and yelling at me, and Grey like she’s trying to hug her—just as Dominik’s laughter rings out and Coach’s fist flies toward my face.
Aw HELL NO! Yeah, the author doesn’t know at all how any of this works. This coach would’ve lost his job or even flinching at him. I mean, that’s why Torts lost his job he got into a fight with Cam York.
“I don’t have any Appies stuff to wear.” “I thought you worked for them,” Lex says with a frown. “I just started this week.”
What kind of job doesn’t give you uniforms? How can you not have any stuff related to the team that you’re working for? That’s not how this works that’s not how any of this works. I’m pretty sure this book was written by an AI algorithm at this point cause there’s just so many inconsistencies and inaccuracies. The only other option is that the author is a lazy dumb ass.
