Amelie will see me for exactly who I am, and she will come to accept that she’s meant for me. I’ll prove to her that my brand of fucked up is what she needs. It may be a challenge, but that doesn’t worry me. I can be relentless when it comes to getting what I want. And I don’t just want Amelie Brooks; I’ll go fucking insane without her.
If you ask me, women are incredible strategists and are totally underutilized in our society. We make jokes about how their brains are always on, thinking of a million things at once, then we limit their access to leadership roles. It’s the fucking dumbest thing in the world. Totally counterintuitive.
Perspective is such an odd beast. One minute you step in a mound of horse shit and think your day is ruined, then find out you won the lottery and decide horse shit is your new lucky charm.
