Except she is like that! all she's done throughout the story so far is accept her fate. her THINKING about wanting to escape doesn't mean anything if she doesn't actually plan one! the only attempt she's done was reckless and half assed, and she knew it was a trap!
I don't read often but I'm starting to learn that I despise stories that write their characters as one thing and then try to make them seem like another thing. for example, Wren is a stupid impulsive girl who doesn't take action in her life but through dialogues and self-glazing the story wants us to believe she's the opposite
