Everything that can happen to a woman, happened to me as a child, as a female. Granted, I’m stronger mentally and better off because of it but make no mistake, I tolerate very little these days.
I decided to skip over the obvious joke of this fat ass cat sitting perched on my pillow talking about he’s a man, and moved forward.
“Alpha,” I repeated. “Y'all really take this stuff seriously out here.” Quan turned to look at me for the first time. “You really do sound lost like he said. Even Maggie is more receptive than you and she’s more human than you. That says more about her than it does about you though.”
“A nymph?” He let out, as if disgusted. “You know they’re bottom of the barrel trash sirens–––” “And the one I just so happen to know is dope as fuck and consider her to be the coolest thing since sliced bread, what are we talking about here? Isis? My girl Isis? Bottom of the barrel? Nevuh,” I popped.
