I went through my checklist before we rode to keep myself busy. We didn’t ride as often as I liked, but when we did, I fucking loved it. King walked up to me as I checked the chain to make sure it had good tension. We serviced the bikes ourselves, but it had been too long since we had taken the girls out.
Please let it be King and Boogie. Please let it be my monsters.
“Please don’t hurt them,” Ally said. “They have suffered enough.” The woman studied Ally so long that I thought she might kill her. “We might run a crime syndicate, but I can assure you we don’t sell or trade women or children,” she said. “They will get home.”
“I can’t believe she did this, she’s fucking crazy,” I said, proud that she one-upped us. “Yeah, but we love her crazy,” King said, and I knew he was smiling
