To the ones with the odds constantly stacked against them: Fuck what everyone else will think or say. Use it as fuel to write your own happy ending.
But Cam doesn’t make me feel like I’ve been doused in gasoline and set on fucking fire every time he looks at me. Doesn’t fluster me or send electrical jolts into my body every time we make the slightest contact. Madden, though…
It lights me on fire from the inside out, and I know if this hot tub weren’t already bubbling from the jets, it would be from the heat in this kiss alone.
He drags me under with hatred, holds me captive with wrath. And it’s a taste too fucking addictive to fight.
“I hate that I want you,”
His dark chuckle floats over my skin like satin. “About time we agreed on something.”
Theo Greyson is in my bloodstream, whether I like it or not.
“What do you want, Theo?”
“You!” I shout instantly. “Jesus fuck. It’s you, okay? I want you.”
“Then what are you waiting for, Theo?” he asks in a gruff whisper. “I’m right here. So if that’s really what’s going on here, why aren’t you acting on it?”
“The rest can wait ‘til after I make you come.”
I’m not sure which of us moves first, only that our mouths collide in a way I can only describe as cataclysmic. The earth shakes beneath our feet at the impact as my mouth molds to his, slowly at first, taking a taste before tightening the hand behind his neck and diving in for more.
I want to take my time with him. Want to kiss and touch and learn every inch of his body. Want to drive him as mad as he makes me by simply opening his mouth.
“Fuck, I’m gonna have so much fun with you.”
All I care about is making this good for him. Bringing him to the brink of ecstasy and watching as he falls into the abyss.
And his eyes never leave mine the entire time. “Fuck, I knew you were trouble,”
he fucking smiles around the head of my cock before sucking it again, a little harder this time.
“That’s it, baby. Just like that,”
Theo Greyson hasn’t just gotten under my skin. He’s clawed his way into my psyche, burrowed himself through muscle and cartilage, sliced straight to the bone—and he’s managed this in an unthinkably short amount of time. Then again, maybe he started carving away at me long before I even realized it.
Theo Greyson is an anomaly; the perfect combination of power, speed, and grace.
Creates a living, breathing need for him beyond my control.
“I love watching you like this. Seeing how turned on you get when I’m barely touching you.”
“God, Mads. Kiss me,” I plead.
“Guess I hadn’t found the right person to try it with.”
“Fuck,” he curses, the sound coming out with a bit of grit and growl. “The way you look at me…”
“You’re in so much trouble the next time I get my hands on you. I hope you know that.” “I’m looking forward to it.”
It takes every ounce of willpower I possess to not devour him right now, pinned against the door. Kiss and tease and fuck him until he’s lingering on the brink of sanity, begging for more, for mercy. For me. Because that’s exactly what he does—drives me insane, makes me reckless and rash, and I don’t know if I love or hate it. Probably a little of both.
“Oh, I hope they do. I hope they hear every moan, cry, and sigh that leaves your mouth tonight, because I’m gonna make sure you’re loud enough to wake the dead.”
“Come for me. Right fucking now.”
He’s just Theo. Just…mine.
I can be loyal and dedicated to my team, my school, the rivalry we’ve built for over a century, but still remove myself from it enough to want you.”
He might be the most infuriating person I’ve ever met, but God, do I want him. Even if I shouldn’t.
I crave him down to the marrow of my bones, the ends of the earth. To the edge of my fucking sanity.
“All of you. I want all of you.”
In the darkest depths of my soul, I know everything—everyone—else pales in comparison.
“Fuck, baby. This is my favorite look on you yet,” he rasps, shaking his head. “Frayed at the edges, trying and failing to hold yourself together when all you want is to fall apart.”
But God, that smile…it causes devastation to my heart anytime it’s aimed at me. It eviscerates my soul.
“And what exactly is this?” “Something a helluva lot more important.”
“This is what you do to me. You drive me fucking crazy.”
“The way I want you…it fucking kills me. Every time you’re near, I can’t think about anything else except touching you, tasting you. Marking every inch of your body as mine. You’ve ruined me.”
