Capone hated my ass with a passion and never hid the shit either. He acted like he smelled something bad whenever I came around.

“Alaia.” “Huh?” “Can I hold you?” “Please.” He scooted over toward me and pulled me into his arms. His arms swallowed me up as I got comfortable in them. I felt him kiss the top of my head. “You can rest now.”
