Cole: I wanted to make sure that you understood what I was saying. Those emojis can be tricky sometimes. What if you think he just looks happy instead of smug? Then you miss the whole point.
Jace suddenly began jerking next to me, and I glanced over and saw that he was practicing Cole’s move in front of the mirror.
“No. Just no,” I told him. “I won’t throw you a single pass if that’s what you’re going to do.”
“I will intentionally follow you on the field and steal your passes if that’s what your plan is,” added Matty, ...

Jace shrugged and stopped humping the air. “You’re right. I imagine my dick is much larger than a rockstar’s. Wouldn’t want the whole stadium f...

“Nice word choice,” Jace commented, back to reading my texts over my shoulder. “Such a big brain.”
He sent a picture of his head on a cheerleader’s body, and with that beautiful sight, it was time for this conversation to end.
The camera zoomed in, catching his intense blue eyes, his windblown hair, and the way he carried himself like he knew he was a god among men.
He was tall, towering above most of his teammates, and he was built like he’d been sculpted by someone who hadn’t made the rest of us.
felt a set of eyes on me, and I glanced over to see Nat watching, a knowing smile on her face, like she could read the lustful thoughts running through my head right then. I wrinkled my nose at her, and she laughed before looking back toward the field.
eyes locked on Parker as he jogged into the end zone, that grin plastered across his face. And then, my jaw dropped as he turned to the crowd and did an Elvis impression, hips moving with that cocky confidence that made half the stadium scream even louder.
“Am I pregnant? I feel pregnant,” Nat said, shaking me as we both watched Parker. “Oh my gosh, look. We’re up there on the screen. Holy Fuck, Casey!” Nat screamed as she took advantage of the screen time to do a sexy little dance that would no doubt stay in some guys’ heads for the rest of the day.
The stadium screen showed Parker staring into the camera then, and as we watched, Parker blew a kiss and then pointed at it.
Coming face to face with Parker Davis.
“You’re with that guy over there, aren’t you? Gray Andrews. The one who seems to have forgotten he’s supposed to be yours,” he drawled, staring daggers at Gray like he’d mortally offended him.
“When I find the girl of my dreams, you can bet your exquisite ass I’m going to find out everything I can about her.”
“I can’t believe you’re real, baby girl. You’re perfect.” His words came out like a groan as his hand, rough but careful, traced the curve of my jaw.
His irritation faded, a smug satisfaction creeping onto his face.
I’d never, in all the time that I’d known him, thought that anything about Gray was ugly. But that look was.
Jace: Send help. I need an IV. I think I might shrivel up and die. Matty: WTF is wrong with you?
Jace: That girl last night was like some kind of vampire. But like one that sucks cocks. I think she sucked all of the cum out of my dick. Jace: I’m dying.
Jace: And you, QB. Who would catch your balls and take care of your balls and make sure your balls were put in the right place. I almost tripped on air reading that one. Matty: Why exactly was that so sexual?
“Nope, sorry, she won’t work,” I insisted quickly. “She hates me. My best friend broke her heart and it brings back bad memories when she sees me.”
I had no idea who Hollow Thornley was, but knowing Jace and Matty, it could be the truth.
Eventually, she would get used to that too. And realize that it was a very small list of people whose opinion or attention actually mattered.
I was really going to enjoy wrapping it around my fists as I fucked her from behind.
I filed that away as something I needed to follow up with. If she had an injury, I needed to know how to help her. I needed to know everything about her.
“What?” I asked, realizing I’d missed something she’d said. Unacceptable. Her voice was just a little distracting, like a drug that could make me do anything.
The fact that she still was trying to get me to fuck her after the hot sauce incident was just another blaring sign that this chick was absolutely insane.
There should be a neon sign attached to her head that warned all mankind that they should keep ten feet between their dicks and this girl at all times.
“If you ever touch me again, I’m going to make sure that the whole campus knows what happened that night. Do you understand?”
“Now,” I growled. Casey shifted in her seat at my tone. Don’t worry, baby, I’d never use that tone on you, I wanted to tell her.
The whole world should be falling at the feet of this beautiful, talented, fucking incredible girl.
The second he spotted me sitting with Casey, his grin widened. I shot him my best fuck off look, but he pretended not to see it.
“Fancy seeing you here, Parkie-Poo. You usually like to study in a more…private setting,”
“Thank goodness, you’re getting help. I know how much you…struggle with your classes.” He smirked at me mockingly.
If he kept pausing like that, I really was going to reach across and strangle him.
I’d actually been awarded the Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.
When Casey looked down at the table, I flipped him off, mouthing leave to him frantically.
I’m Jace, Parker’s hotter, smarter best friend.”
“You should tell her, QB, tell her how much smarter I am than you. And hotter too.”
Before Casey could react, I smacked his hand away, a sharp thwack that had him laughing.
“Touchy, Parker,” he said, mock innocence dripping from his tone as he wiggled his fingers and shoved his hands in his pockets.
“Want to hear a joke?” he asked Casey suddenly. I groaned. “Please, no.” “It’s a good one. It will impress her.”
growled at him, and he grinned. Asshole. “You don’t need to impress her.”
“He’s just jealous because of the whole smarter and hotter thing.”
And now it was definitely time for Jace to go, because I didn’t want anyone making her laugh like that—but me.
“Alright, on that…note, I think it’s time for you to be leaving. Don’t you have that meeting tonight, Jace?” I asked, hoping he could read the “you will die if you don’t leave now” in my expression.
“But not more than me, right?” I found myself asking, like a pathetic, insecure fool, as I leaned in closer to her, taking the occasion to play with her hair a little more.
I resisted the urge to go after her, promising myself that soon, she wouldn’t want to run away at all.
