Follow what you feel is your purpose—not what others tell you to do. Otherwise you lose your soul and become a commodity. Don’t be a commodity. Be true to yourself.

learned early that there are always going to be nasty voices out there. They are only a few, but they sound louder than the good voices. You cannot be afraid of them. You need to remember that there are more good voices out there, but you cannot hear them as well. The popular sentiment is often not the loudest.

The most precious thing you own is time. Time for thinking. Time for doing nothing. Time to find out who you are. Time to enjoy a new flavor. Time to go to a new restaurant. Time to watch a sunset. It’s the biggest luxury of all, to enjoy the moment, to be aware of the things you have around you.

So if you’re going to make a mistake, just make sure you’re still moving: going somewhere, believing in something, moving forward. Don’t worry about making the wrong decisions, and don’t stop moving.
