while it may feel like a distraction to discuss the way culture informs science, I believe this is precisely how we make our science better, more objective, and more ethical.

So much damage has been wrought by believing we are exceptional and superior to other beings.

You can go unseen by the human gaze but trust you will be seen by others, nonjudgmentally.
