As an idea moves through a community, some of the early adopters who join in early are aligned on mission and eager to help it succeed. But most of the people we encounter are skeptics. They’re looking for an easy way to keep things the same. They’re uncomfortable with the tension that change brings, and will conceal that fear with objections that seem like thoughtful feedback.
