Without the bottom of the pyramid, there would be no one at the top. The pyramid wouldn’t even exist. I know now that I was the glue to the team, using my strength to hold everyone together, even when no one could see it. I’ve also always known one important reality: When you’re at the bottom, the only place you can go is up.
