“A nigga touched your fucking chin on the bus, and I fucking put a body on a federal judge’s doorstep. The fuck you think I’m gonna do now that niggas shot at my fucking wife? Use your fucking brain!” He yelled, before going into the bathroom.
If I ever needed to know how much this man loved me, today proved how much he loved me. I flashed back to how he looked me in the eyes when he finally was able to get next to our car. He was angry, livid even, but I now understood that it was fear behind his eyes, too.
She hated to have this conversation, but I needed her to know that shit happened. I always wanted to be here with her and my kids, but at the end of the day, the day gotta end, and that might be with me in the ground.
“You care about her?” “With everything inside of me, Capo. No disrespect, but I love your sister.” He turned, standing tall and staring me down in the eyes. This nigga had his nose broke behind messing with Capri, and here he was standing here telling me that he was in love with her. “I’m too old for this shit. Fix this weird fucking love triangle shit y’all got going on. The fuck is this… love is blind? I didn’t bring you on the team to be falling in love and shit. I know one thing; you better have Naheim’s fucking back like none of this shit happened.”
“Kincaid, stop playing like I won’t tap your fucking jaw,” I rushed over toward him, and he remained seated. “Tap it then,” he encouraged, touching the side of his face.
He laughed. “With the way you were busting that eagle, I got the one that I want right here. That shit had me so turned on… if your brother wasn’t with us while the doctor was getting everything ready.” He whistled.
You scare me for all the good reasons. You scare me because you are honest, loving, and you protect me.
Your father was your first love, so I was excited to witness her fall in love with her father.
