It was a deep red with dark steel and gold accents.
“You’re mine, Rosalie Wells. Don’t you ever fucking forget it,”
He paused his kiss and laughed. I blushed. I was done already, and there was nowhere else I’d rather be than right here.
“Damn, baby girl, I’m not going anywhere. You don’t have to knock me out with that quick jab of yours.”
“Locked doors or windows aren’t going to be able to keep me from you, Rosalie. Not when I needed to see you so much. I couldn’t be away from you for another moment.”
“AJ, I love you. I never stopped loving you. Even when you were gone and I tried to be mad at you or tried to forget you… I couldn’t. I knew you would come back.”
It had all been a dream.
“You’ll go through a lot of hard things in life, Rosalie. A lot of it will be outside of your control. So, the only thing you can control when things happen is how you react to them and how it affects you, going forward.
Why won’t you let me move on?! You left me! Why do I always think you’re going to come back?! Is it because I still think you didn’t leave for why you said you were? Is it because what we had was so dang real and perfect that life without you just doesn’t make sense to me? What was it?!
