This book is for my babes looking for the company of a rich, possessive, obsessed man. I hope you enjoy your time with Callahan Hastings.
“I thought I spoke pretty clearly. You’ve spent the entire night berating your own staff, and quite honestly, I’m sick of it. So let me say this nice and slow for you. Do. Not. Talk. To. Her. That. Way.” My
Is golfing supposed to be this hot? Or is it just because Cal’s doing it?
There’s nothing I want more at this very moment than to kiss Lucy Rae Owens. I don’t care that she’s my employee for the summer. And I certainly don’t give a damn that she’s my brother’s ex-girlfriend. Nothing matters more than the desperate desire to feel her lips against mine.
His smile grows wider. He lifts a shoulder in a casual shrug. “I was just wondering if the way you stared at my abs earlier meant you shared the same sentiment as your friend.”
She wears a baby pink bikini that I can’t stop staring at. I’ve never been a fan of pink before, but it might now be my favorite color. The two little pink ties at her waist. The tiny triangles that hide parts of her I’m suddenly desperate to see.
The strong muscles of his cheek feather underneath his skin as he angrily clenches his jaw. “What have I said about calling anything to do with your dreams silly?”
“Don’t talk about my brother when I’m seconds away from finally kissing you after I’ve been thinking about doing it for days…maybe even weeks.”
“And because I can’t imagine anything else I’m meant to do at this very moment other than taste your needy moans.”
“Kiss me,” she demands, her gaze falling to my lips. “Kiss me again before I feel guilty for letting you kiss me in the first place.”
“Kiss me so you know how good you taste,” I demand, leaning close and running my nose along her jawline. “Then you’ll understand why I might get addicted to having my face between your thighs.”
“I want to buy you expensive things, Lucy. What’s the point in having an ungodly amount of money if I can’t spend it on the first woman to capture my attention like this?”
“Fine, you buy me the bike. But I want you to know I’m not used to people buying me things often, and I don’t know how to properly accept them. If I act weird, that’s why.” Cal smiles before moving to cradle my face with both of his hands. “That’s okay. I’ll make sure to spoil you so much in the time that I have you that you get used to it.”
A low growl comes from his throat. “I know, baby. I’m sorry. Do you forgive me?” I moan at the softness of his tone. There’s something about the way he said those words and seeing him on his knees in front of me, his lips wet with my arousal, that makes them ten times hotter than they’d be in any other scenario.
Now, as I take in Lucy lying naked in my bed, her body flushed with desire, I realize I can’t imagine ever not having her in my bed.
“Do as you’re told,” I command, keeping my voice soft. “Show me how you touched yourself. I bet you pretended it was me touching you, didn’t you?”
“I was made for you, Lucy Rae. I’ll fit inside you perfectly.”
“Just so you know, anything with you is my thing. Haven’t you learned that by now?” He reaches up and tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear. “I can’t get enough of you.”
“I’m only ridiculous for you, Lucy Rae Owens.” I wink at her before grabbing her hand and leading her to the Chanel boutique house.
“You’re spoiling me too much.” I shake my head, kissing her again because I feel like it. My words are said against her lips. “There’s no such thing, Lucy baby.”
When I first saw Cal at Laurent Hughes’s dinner party, I wanted nothing to do with him. Now, I don’t want a life that doesn’t include him in it.
