“I’m not fine. Sometimes things feel okay, but I’m never fine.

This girl could stick a knife in me, marry my best friend, and disappear for a decade, and so long as she came back for me in the end, it would. Not. Matter.

I can’t compete with a ghost, so I won’t,” I promise. “He can keep your heart for all eternity. Just let me hold you for all of mine.”

“I will wait forever for just the chance you’ll love me back.”

He’s everything I didn’t know I needed and more than I ever thought I’d have,

“Don’t cry,” he whispers. “I’m okay here. In your memory. Just think of me sometimes, and I’ll never be gone.”
