“They want me,” he whispered in my ear. I pulled back as he put me down and I stared at him with wide eyes. “Are you kidding?” His grin was ear to ear. “Not even for a second. He said he’s had his eye on me since last year and if I keep playing the way I did tonight, then to expect an offer from him to play ball at ESU next year.”
