The second our lips touch, I’m terrified because that’s all the time it takes to know that I’ve made the worst mistake of my life. East’s lips are as soft as I always thought they would be. He melts in my hold the way I imagined. His jaw fits in my hand with the exact perfection I’d always assumed it would, and as we kiss, as my guts fill with helium and my heart feels too big to contain, I work out that there’s only one thing worse than your dream man being nothing like you thought he would be. And that’s your dream man being everything you imagined.
I have no idea what Connor said to him when he got home, but I find it hard to believe it was “go throw yourself at my brother.”
“We need to talk.” “No—” “Not now. We’ll talk later. For now, I want to drop to my knees right here and suck you off.” This cannot be real life. I’m finally able to breathe, but I can’t speak. So all I do is nod and then watch as Knox sinks to the floor.
“Hold me,” he grunts. The request throws me. “What? All romantic like?” His evil grin is back. “No. Hold me down. Show me how strong you are.” My confusion and amusement disappear as pure lust hits my veins. I grab both his wrists in one hand, then slam them down onto the pillow above his head. With my other hand, I push his thigh to the side, then pin that to the bed too.
“You’re not going anywhere,” I tell him. “You’re mine, East. And you’ll stay right there until I’m done.” His eyes roll back into his head as he arches off the bed. “Fuck me. Please fuck me.” I lean in until my mouth is hovering over his. “I’ll do what I want.”
“Wanna mark you up,” I murmur. “Want everyone to know you’re spoken for. That you’re mine.” Easton shudders on top of me, and his thrusts pick up speed. I suck a deep, dark hickey into his collarbone. “No one else gets to have you.” “No one,” he rasps.
