i should’ve definitely looked up the characters names before starting this
Punctuality is important to me, it really is. I’m just not always very good at it.
“I would be a bad wife,” I admit. This is a truth I’ve never spoken aloud, one that I’ve been harboring for the better part of a decade. “I don’t know that I’m made for relationships like that.”
“And even if I did know many women, you might be the most beautiful one.”
Vanessa looks unsure about the said sweetness of the dog, which I cannot blame her for. Ranger has not aged all that gracefully. I can admit, even, that he is a bit ugly, but I think he’s ugly in the way that makes him all the more endearing and precious.

“Is it a secret?” Nate asks. “Like, are you undercover? Can you not tell me? Do I need to go into witness protection now?”

I fall back onto my ass and Ranger starts barking again, loud howls at the man whose stomach was sliced open, his insides on my tile. Tony.

“You sound racist again,” Mary calls out. Cillian holds his middle finger up in Mary’s direction.

I’m about to step out of the room when Cillian moves suddenly, a blur of motion to my right before there’s a sickening slam at the back of my head. Everything goes completely black.
