Presentism is nonsense. The order of knowledge always changes, often quite dramatically. Just look at what happened to Newtonian physics in the twentieth century with the rise of quantum mechanics. Or biology in the late nineteenth century and early to mid-twentieth century with the rise of Darwinian comparativism and then the eventual discovery of the gene and the DNA molecule in the 1950s. Or look at what is happening to cosmology right now.
