And that is precisely why I think the UFO subject is so incredibly important: it bears a particular power to challenge, even abolish, our present order of knowledge and its arbitrary divisions into the objective and the subjective. Whatever the UFO is, after all, it simply does not behave according to such rules and assumptions. It certainly couldn’t care less about the concerns and categories of our militaries, politicians, and academics.
