This dissolution of the subject-object structure is precisely what “mystical” means for Atmanspacher and Rickles, which, once again, they relate to Hegel and, further back, to Spinoza: “Both Spinoza’s intellectual intuition and Hegel’s absolute join in with such most fundamental immanent experiences, which are often described as mystical revelations.
