My own position? It is always developing and confessedly tentative, and I would be most happy to change it tomorrow, but my general sense is that there is definitely something being covered up or lied about (the misinformation is grotesque and obvious to serious scientific and humanistic researchers), but—and here is the thing—no one knows what that something is or what it means.
