lol okay that was funny

but another aching pit ate at my gut. One thing I could not, or had not, forgotten.

The last POV I want to read is Kaden’s.

They made me uncomfortable because they never felt real. All acts of caring or kindness could be yanked away, evaporating like mist on the wind. I was locked in Yejedin for so long that perhaps the part of me that believed in such things had died and rotted there.

Boo fucking hoo poor Kaden.

This is already annoying. She did this at the end of the last book.

She’d been asking often and always watching me. I’d been forcing smiles, pretending it didn’t ache every damn second.

I’m getting pretty tired of them keeping very important information from each other.
