I was drawn to her. Inexplicably. Unfairly. Stupidly.
“You know, babe. Sometimes it’s up to us to tell the universe what we want. Not the other way around.”
Clearly she didn’t know what to say in the face of my flawless male logic.
“Dom, of course people are going to talk. Trying to avoid being a topic of conversation is a pretty lame way to live life. Sometimes, accepting the discomfort is how good things are earned.”
