Instead of addressing Theros, Augustus suddenly looked down at me and pointedly held eye contact. Oh crap, he definitely heard that. Augustus made a disturbed face, then looked away from me with a grimace. Now who’s the top dog in the classroom, huh? Was it my imagination, or did Augustus just smirk? I turned my attention to the floor and wished I’d never gained consciousness.
