Only if we look to the Lord will our faith grow stronger. And that requires a conscious and sustained effort. It means denying your senses, your feelings, and your reason. But if we look at our problem, it gets bigger and bigger until it finally overwhelms us. We can’t see anything except how hopeless everything is. So we have to be ruthless with ourselves and give not only our problem, but our very selves, over to the Lord for His answer.
A lot of people who practice and teach on Christian divine healing say something along these lines. Perhaps we need to give their corporate prescription more serious allowance.
