I’m at the place where I get to have fun and be creative because there is no preconceived notion of what this stage looks like. It’s fucking exciting! I love knowing where I came from, but now I get to mix it up a little.

When people ask me for advice on starting something new in this phase of life, I don’t have many words of wisdom beyond this: Just … start. They’ll ask, “How did you find the courage?” and my answer is, “You can’t think about it too much.”
