I think it’s less about throwing your hands up and saying who cares and more about believing that if there’s something you want to say, it inherently has value.
You are no longer a child. You have experienced something that took your innocence away.
It’s not that we’re angry, but we’re also done walking on eggshells so that nobody, God forbid, thinks we’re angry.
The sense of unity that comes from talking about our experiences. Once you verbalize your struggle, you give people who are dealing with something similar a context to coexist.
