Here I was chilling with my future wife and then gun shots rang out. What pissed me off the most was that my baby didn’t even get the chance to eat her food. She tossed that shit on the floor as she dove onto the floor.
It was funny how America always advertised themselves as being the place to achieve wealth and have that better life. Nobody ever spoke about how hard it was for immigrants to find their way here.
“Now why would I take a ride with you?” “Because I’m not asking you… I’m telling you. Gorgeous, you over here trying to keep a neutral face, but you wanna blush for your man.”
“I don’t have my wallet.” “Whenever you with me, you don’t ever need that wallet.”
My world could be crumbling apart, and no one would know because I was that good at hiding what I was going through. Was it healthy? No. It helped me make it through my day without breaking down. I don’t care what anyone said, with time it never got easier, you just got better at hiding the grief.
“Then I guess we’re attending a funeral together… they gonna introduce you as his special friend, right?”
“Action is what excites me. A man who is about the words he speaks. Your cars, home, and everything you have is nice, but I don’t care about none of it.
“I’m not those other niggas, Erin. With me, I’m gonna make you feel shit that you’ve never felt before. You fucking with a grown man, a man who knows what he wants. You think you the only one scared? I know you have the power to make a nigga crash out behind you. I also know that you have the power to make me feel shit I never felt before, and that scares a nigga.” He placed a soft kiss on my lips.
“You had me ready to lay a nigga out in the club over you. I don’t like seeing another nigga’s hands on what I know is mine.”
“You’re mine, Erin. I’m not fucking joking when I say that shit either. Stop trying to make me show you that I mean what I say, because it won’t be pretty.”
“I’m not a perfect man and I don’t ever pretend to be. However, when I say something, I mean that shit, and I will uphold it with every part of my soul.”
“Figured my dream girl should have her dream car, even if I could put her in something better.”
