Praiseworthy is the person who watches his home and keeps it suitable for Shabbos; his “home” refers to his heart. Praiseworthy is the person who is careful not to be sad or angry on Shabbos. Anger is the fire of Gehinom, and it says, “Do not kindle any fires in your homes on Shabbos.” When a person becomes angry it is as if he lit the fires of Gehinom.
