Nothing gets under my skin quite like that phrase from his lips. To me, You know that is the equivalent of saying: You’re being irrational. Because if I did truly know what Caleb intended prior to every time he says You know that—I’d be creating a problem where there was none. I’d be choosing to believe that his intention is to hurt my feelings, which I never once have. I know Caleb is kind. I know he’s not the type of person who actively tries to harm someone. But just because he’s never trying to hurt me doesn’t mean he can’t and I’m tired of him throwing out that phrase like it’s some sort
