As D-16’s best friend, he knew that D-16’s favorite Prime was Megatronus.
“You’re my best friend, D, and I’ve always got your back,” Orion said, putting out a fist. “No matter what,” D-16 replied, completing the fist bump.
“Absolutely not!” D-16 interrupted. “You already tried to show everyone in the race you tricked me into running, which got us stuck down here in this waste hole with this…” D-16 looked at the small yellow bot, who was listening attentively. Not wanting to hurt B-127’s feelings, D-16 said, “With this… uh… this really, really cool guy.”
“Knives coming out of the ceiling. Amazing. Everyone, do we have to go inside?” No one answered. Against his better judgment, B-127 decided to follow them. “Okay, yep,” he said, “we’re going in. Why shouldn’t we? Just walking into the scariest place I’ve ever seen in my life.”
As D-16 approached the remains of his hero, Megatronus Prime, he thought of how often he’d wished he could have met him. D-16 lowered his head in respect.
