“That’s exactly why.” Relic answered while waltzing inside after Los opened the door to let him in. He stared at Pierre with icy eyes. “You’ve been home for less than two weeks, and already have your name buzzing in the fucking streets. You got a lil’ bitch in the clink you’re trying to get back to or something?”

Pierre inhaled a breath but didn’t react when Relic mushed two fingers against his forehead like a bitch beefing with her nigga.

Pierre smiled at that before delivering Relic a warning glare that spoke volumes. Kennedy was testing him as if he wouldn’t put her in a pine box and sleep like a baby after the fact.

“I’m not giving up my son. I’m letting his father take him until I’m stable enough to do my part. No one ever said the mother is obligated to be the sole guardian.”
