For the dreamers and those who have lost hope— Spring will find you even after the coldest winter. Don't be afraid to get your hopes up and dream again. Just try.
Running away with Aaron Calem was written in the stars. It sounded like the first sentence of a really good book. One that I’d read over and over.
He collapsed on the floor, taking a fake plastic plant with him. A mob of nurses surrounded him, and shouts echoed against the white walls. Aaron might just take my Oscar.
I knotted his hair in my hands. “You’ll always be my Aaron. No matter what.”
Aaron would always be my sunlight. Even if that meant I’d have to rip the moon out of the sky to save him from the dark.
“Has anyone ever told you that you’re literally the perfect girl? Smart, gorgeous . . . you’re everything.” “You’re the only one who’s ever told me that.” “They’re missing out.”
I liked the way Kimberly looked at my brother. Like he hung the sun in the sky for her every day.
“This love is the only thing I care about. It’s the only thing that matters. Prophecies be damned.”
“Mrs. Calem, you look intoxicatingly beautiful tonight.” She drew in a breath. “You’ve never called me that before.” “I’m testing it out. Seeing how it feels to say,” I said with my lips at her ear.
“Yeah. Maybe I could do all of that and . . . be your wife. And maybe that could be my favorite thing.”
