Zuzka and her colleagues wrote and hand-addressed postcards telling recipients that the war was futile. The cards were then stuffed into mailbags that OSS agents had stolen and smuggled back from Germany, and subsequently dropped by Allied aircraft onto bombed trains that carried the bulk of mail around the country.
