You might say my obsession has become a compulsion in the way I need to know everything about Scarlet Laurent.

Bash’s usual playful tone turns cold. “No one’s getting anywhere near our sister. We owe her a lot.” He gives me a playful wink. “And as soon as you stop hoarding her away like a damn dragon, we can all get together.”
“Not just now. If I saw him staring off into a room, I knew I’d find you on the other end. That man has been absolutely smitten, probably his entire life.”
