Ronan Kernos, CEO of Bullseye Media, is handsome, worldly and a minotaur. Also, the billionaire who was last year’s Heartstone Times’ most eligible bachelor.
His wide set brown eyes glare at me from beneath outrageously long dark lashes. The pale gray-white of his skin deepens to a darker shade over his brows and his wide black horns stretch out over his long bovine ears. Monsters have been out for nearly five years now. There was even a monster who ran for mayor of Heartstone! A minotaur, just like Mr. Kernos.
To my left, Cedric Du Montfort, a gargoyle in a neat suit,
I can’t concentrate. Do minotaurs have pubes?
I do not need a mate bond forming—with her or anyone. I can’t afford that. What are the chances, though? One in a hundred minotaur bulls finds his fated mate. Not even that these days.
From this angle, I can bring one of her soft human feet to my mouth to suck those toes.
I don’t want to go back to the other Ronan. The stern billionaire minotaur always so in control. I prefer the bull beneath the mask he wears in public.
