But it does mean that we will be careful about whom we allow into our homes and how long we allow them to stay. If they pose a threat to our family, we’ll kick them out. We won’t invite strangers to sleep in our children’s beds, eat our children’s food, and wear our children’s clothes while our own children go without. That wouldn’t be virtuous; it would be cruel and irresponsible.
