i’ve come to the realization that i don’t mind the writing when it’s in a different pov but this author canNOT write ‘different’ women without making them cringeworthy and just straight up annoying and stupid. you can be a strong independent woman without being annoying

STOP this is not the sex positive/empowerment move you think it is. it comes across as crass. there are far more important things than this girl losing her virginity. i understand the author is probably trying to come across as “the male characters in books always want to have sex so why can’t the women” but the author CANT WRITE so it’s just bad and annoying and unnecessary
